2parse.com:
2parse is a blog on many things (and this is actually discussed as a blog entry) including politics,
writing, and many other things. I find it an intriguing site and recommend it to anyone interested in
those topics.

Preditors and Editors.com:
Preditors and Editors has a list of publishers, agents, etc., and they note whether they are honest or
are trying to scam you. Currently, they are being sued and ask for donations.

Mathematics 4 Everyone
Mathematics 4 Everyone is a site made with Google Sites by a friend of mine. It teaches math and is
aimed primarily toward beginners (explaining addition, subtraction, etc), though also including more
advanced math (such as algebra). It is still under construction but already has several lessons up and
ready, and even some programs to help you (or someone you know) practice basic math.

CoffeeCup.com:
CoffeeCup is a site that offers free software (as well as programs you need to pay for) for web
development. They have a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) website creator called
Visual Site Designer and much more (such as menu generators, FTP software, etc.).

Mozilla.com and Mozilla.org:
Mozilla created the open-source browser Mozilla Firefox and several other programs and things
(like Thunderbird). They also have a free HTML editor.

OpenOffice.org is home to the OpenOffice.org Suite, which is a free, open-source group of
programs similar to Microsoft Office.
